We are looking for a dedicated Senior Aviation Specialist to manage critical airport operations and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will oversee ground security, maintain regulatory compliance, and respond to airfield incidents, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and passenger safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor airfield operations and ground traffic to ensure compliance with FAA and local safety regulations.Coordinate emergency response actions during aviation incidents and manage operational recovery efforts.Perform regular airfield inspections and security sweeps to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Liaise with airline partners and government agencies to streamline terminal and runway functions.Prepare detailed incident reports and operational logs to document daily airport activities and safety audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airfield operations or aviation management roles.In-depth knowledge of FAA Part 139 regulations and airport security screening procedures.Ability to analyze complex operational data and implement effective safety management systems.Strong leadership skills with the ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure incidents.Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Science, or a related technical field.
Work Requirements
This role requires working in an active airport environment. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for long periods and must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
