The Janitorial Associate is essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facilities. This role demands a dedicated individual focused on upholding high sanitation standards and ensuring that all building areas are meticulously kept for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect all facility areas, including restrooms and common rooms.Perform thorough floor maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners according to waste protocols.Safe handling and mixing of cleaning chemicals following safety guidelines.Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment while sanitizing surfaces.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in professional cleaning or custodial maintenance work.Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and disinfecting techniques.Ability to follow safety protocols and use equipment like floor buffers.Reliable work ethic with keen attention to detail and thoroughness.High school diploma or equivalent certification for facility maintenance.
Physical & Work Requirements
This role is physically active and requires standing and walking for the entire shift. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stretch, and reach frequently. Work involves exposure to cleaning agents and varying temperatures.
